Acquisition of Judge & Co

We are delighted to announce that we have acquired the practice of Judge & Co, Chartered Accountants, of Glasgow with immediate effect.

Judge & Co was founded in 1999 and serves over 200 clients across Scotland, providing personal tax and accounting services, very similar to our existing clients.

The clients and staff of Judge will be relocating to our offices in Park Circus with immediate effect and will further strengthen the team already operating in Glasgow, Stornoway and Kilmarnock.

Speaking after the deal was concluded, Sue Nicolson said “We are delighted to welcome Judge & Co clients and staff to the firm and to be able to announce the latest stage in our rapid growth. We will be moving clients onto our computerised accounting and tax systems to continuously improve the service delivered to them. We are looking forward to meeting all the clients and to understanding their needs: and then to meet and exceed their expectations.”

“With all three offices wired together to allow our staff to solve client problems from any location, we are able to provide a superior service to all clients.”

“We encourage our staff to train in a variety of skills. We have four staff undertaking ACCA training and we are training three others in advanced personal taxation so that they can better help the clients.”

“Out investment in IT means that the business is scalable and we can add computers, users, voip telephones and staff with little cost or complexity.”
